MERELY PLAYERS and THE DURANGO PERFORMING ARTS COMPANY formed IMAGINARY FRIENDS to ignite the vision of offering something theatrical for everyone: great scripts, memorable design, exciting venues, youthful energy, and skilled acting by trained actors.  The work of our two groups is complementary, and we believe that, together, we can ensure that quality theatre remains in the Four Corners.

Durango Performing Arts Company is dedicated:
* to introducing children to the incomparable magic of theater.
*to developing in each child a keen sense of citizenship alongside their artistic ach

Merely Players seeks:
*To consistently provide quality theatre in this region, while broadening the range of types of experiences available to local theatergoers through relevant, exciting productions in a variety of venues
* To offer dynamic educational programs to area youth and private acting lessons for all ages
* To nurture the adult community artist through individual productions and collaborations with other local artists and groups
